Tonight's lobster choice was not exactly a "lobster roll", but as this joint has made it on the top Lobsters in New England, I had to give it a shot.
The ambience was great. Set in the back of the "restaurant" building. Open fire pit/grill, tree trunk seating and small menu. The menu was big enough for the seafood lovers and prices were decent. My lobster choice was a 1 1/4lb boiled soft shelled. Lobster was easy to shuck and very tasty. Corn on the cob was delicious. I also had my first clams (besides in chowder) and they weren't as bad as I feared, actually had a second. Desserts were great too!
We were able to BYOB and even sides. We didn't need extra sides as the corn, seafood and veggiebob were plenty.
Lobster rating: 8, overall rating: 8.8
Happy eating!
